As SkyPier is a restricted area within the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) the SkyPier ferry service is for transit passengers only. It is not applicable to passengers originating in Hong Kong or officially considered to have entered Hong Kong for immigration purposes.

Baggage tag through is the ability for bags to be directly sent from home destination to an onward destination in a safe, convenient and effective manner. Cotai Water Jet in collaboration with participating Airlines offers passengers the Convenience of hassle free Baggage Tag through from your home destination.to Macau and back.

  • Check in time at Macau Taipa Check-in counter with checked in baggage – 60 minutes before ferry departure.
  • Check in time at Macau Taipa Check-in counter with hand carry baggage – 30 minutes before ferry departure

  • Original Passport
  • Original Visa and or Mainland Travel Permit for HK & Macau Residents
  • Original Air Ticket
  • Seat Preference if any

UCI can be made in advance or on the same day arrangement.

  1. From Macau/HK UCI is not available to destinations in USA + Guam
  2. For all US Flag Carriers UCI is not available to any destinations
  3. UCI is not applicable for any passenger with onward connecting flights.
  4. UCI is not applicable for any passenger with excess baggage.
  5. Airlines staff holding airlines concession tickets are not allowed to travel on this route.

Terms and Condition

Terms of Sea to Air Service:

Passenger must possess valid travel documents which expire no sooner than six months from date of travel. Passenger must possess valid travel visa for destination and confirmed flight ticket.

  1. Cotai Water Jet is not responsible for any loss to passenger caused by any violation of ordinances of Airport Authority of Hong Kong or resulting from flight cancellation or changes.
     
  2. Cotai Water Jet is not responsible for any loss to passenger resulting from airline action taken as a result of passenger's violation of Airport Authority of Hong Kong regulations. Airport Authority of Hong Kong may charge a fee should passenger fail to board. Passenger solely liable for such fee.
     
  3. Cotai Water Jet is not responsible for any loss to passenger caused by flight cancellations as a result of unforeseen force majeure such as typhoon, thunderstorm, natural disasters, etc.
     
  4. Baggage check-in will only be completed at Macao Taipa Ferry Terminal. Cotai Water Jet allows each Cotai Class passenger free passage for total baggage weighing no more than 20Kg and allows each First Class passenger free passage for total baggage weighing no more than 30Kg. Excess baggage charges: HK$20 per every 5 kg. The sum of length, width and height of one item of baggage may not exceed 158cm (62 inches).
  5. Passengers transiting from Macau ports requested to check in at SkyPier two hours before flight departure

 

Terms of Air to Sea Services:

  1. Passenger must arrive to the Cotai Strip Cotai Water Jet ticketing offices at least 60 minutes with check-in baggage; passengers without check-in baggage must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to schedule sailing time to exchange Cotai Water voucher for all check-in formalities and produce baggage identification tag for baggage reclaim.
     
  2. Please present Cotai Water Jet voucher and ID/Travel Document when exchanging ticket.
     
  3. For Air-Sea Transfer, Cotai Water Jet allows each passenger free passage for one item of baggage weighing no more than 20Kg. Excess baggage charges: HK$30/piece.
     
  4. The Cotai Water Jet voucher is valid only on the date and at the time of the Hong Kong Airport Route sailing stated. Expired tickets are void.
     
  5. The Cotai Water Jet voucher can only be used to redeem ferry tickets. It is non-refundable, not for resale or transfer. Lost vouchers will not be replaced.
     
  6. All reservations are final and subject to confirmation by our booking system.
     
  7. Services subject to company's Terms & Conditions of Carriage of Passengers.

Flow of Your Journey

Hong Kong

  • At departure airport inform bags to be checked through to either Hong Kong or Macau
  • Arrive Hong Kong International Airport
  • Proceed to E2- Cotai Water Jet ticketing counter Level 5
  • Need not exit immigration   
  • Passengers holding E-voucher presents passport & E-voucher at ticket counter to redeem ferry ticket
  • Passengers without  E-voucher need to purchase a ferry ticket
  • Give airline baggage tag to ticket counter for collection of baggage
  • Receive ferry ticket and baggage tag  
  • Proceed to Ticket Scanning Counter
  • Use escalator and board Automated People mover to Hong Kong SkyPier
  • Proceed to Cotai Water Jet boarding gate
  • Board Cotai Water Jet to  Macau
  • Upon arrival at ferry terminal proceed to immigration
  • Retrieve luggage from customs after immigration

Macau

All passengers intending to travel on the airport route and prior to purchasing ferry ticket to Hong Kong SkyPier should ensure that the airlines they are travelling have a check-in counter located at Hong Kong SkyPier.

If the airlines does not have a check-in counter at Hong Kong SkyPier, passenger were not permitted to use this route.
